Perhaps I'll start one of these now, seeing as I have something remotely interesting to write in a blog today.

Normally, if I open my window on a bright afternoon, I tend to hear trees rustling, birds singing, and just a few cars in the distance. That's not the case right now. I can hear police helicopters close to my house, some sort of sirens, lots of cars beeping, and a general hullabaloo of electrical noise all coming from this town's bridge. It's tempting to go and see what's happening (the rowing races are going on there at the moment, I wonder if that's where the problem is), but I'm worried it could be something really macabre, like a serious accident, and - what the heck some great big jet-thing just rushed over the house to join in the madness

And now people are beginning to come out of their houses in this street and speculate as to what's going on... it's suddenly gone eerily quiet. I think I'll keep an eye on the local news and see if there are any explanations.

Otherwise, I had a good dream about results day, only to wake up and realise I've got all that still to come. My dutch aunt is here, and I have very little to do today xD
