| Nice artwork, I love the raichu's, I think you were right about the coloring though, but I think that is the painshop more or less. Maybe you should try to work with markers, they show up good and you can get better colors through blending. | |

| To me, Child Cynthia's necklace seems as it was larger in the picture than it is currently. Everything else is normal for her as a child. | |

| Right, time for an update! I've done mostly landscapes recently, but I'll get to those later..... Firstly, for my fake generation of pokemon - I've decided to build an 'Evil Team' based upon the idea of a circus group that mistreats its pokemon in a bid to perform to large audiences. At the beginning, the leader if this group is an older man (around 50/60, I'll draw him next time) called Leon, and he is the ringmaster. However, as the plot unfolds, his position is usurped by Ravyen, who was originally the horsemaster of the circus, but rose through the ranks. The twist? She's the the first female Evil Team Leader >=P And here she is wearing the ringmaster's costume, complete with coat-tails and hat. She's quite direct, and not particularly enigmatic - she's a sharp character indeed, and pretty ruthless. As she was previously the 'horse master', her team naturally has a rapidash in it, as well as a random weavile. But there's also a special fakemon line created for her. Of course, she has the final evolution - Midrizzaner (fusion of 'midnight' and 'lipizzaner') This line is a dark/psychic line What happens to Leon later in the plot? He isn't expelled from the group, he merely takes up the position of 'lion tamer'. He has a Luxray, a Manectric, and this chap - 'Sphinxion', a ground type pokemon: In this Evil Team, there will also be a trapeze artist and a clown sub-leader, but I've not completed them yet! Grunts will also have mini groups, like dancers, acrobats, etc etc. Now for other fakemon - here's Socratowl, a Noctowl evolution: A simple enough idea =) 'Socra' originatees from Socrates, the Greek philosopher who was famous for asking deep questions of random Greek citizens...he was executed for his deeds, unfortunately =( And a 'light' type legendary pokemon is next, possibly. I'll post my original drawing first....this was the idea I had for it, but it looked a bit unpokemonny - So I made some changes. As yet it's un-named - Right, that's all of the fakemon for now! Okay, landscapes.......here's all the random desert landscapes I've finished so far (I love warm desert colours mixed together =D ): And here's a green English landscape based on the view I see most days on my walks in the outdoors....the tree is an Oak : And now a sea picture.....the photograph of the sea is not one that I took, but I painted the winged horse onto it: Keeping on the subject of horses, here's a random mustang-in-the-sun picture: Here's a slightly less cheerful picture xD ....I felt awfully ill a couple of months ago, but couldn't sleep, so I drew how it felt Drawing it almost made it feel like the illness was coming out of me and into the picture instead - I got to sleep soon after drawing it and felt better the following day: And finally, here's a pair of characters I might make a story out of! They're the best of friends; the girl with blue hair is Naoko, the girl with fair hair is Maria. They're complete different personalities: Naoko is headstrong and hyperactive, wears school-like clothes even outside of school, and excels in drama and sports, although she doesn't get along with many people because of her sharpness. Maria on the other hand, is quiet and a bit of a bookworm. She dresses in old-fashioned clothes and is a little easily-distracted, but she's a kind soul! For quite some time the wonder is that they are close friends when they have little in common...eventually it turns out they're related. But it's not just that, they both share a great enthusiasm for each other's different aspects. Anyway, whether I actually write this story remains to be seen, but here they are: Right, that'll do for now! I considered putting dreambird in, but the critter is already in my sig and avatar, that's enough showing I think XD Comments/requests are always great! =D Pirate | |

| Marvelous!! Brrraaavvooo!! Lets have a look at all the recent pictures: That Ravyen lady looks niiiice overall My only problem with the pic is just that the Pokeball looks weird, with smaller red hemisphere than the white. By the way, is she your evil counterpart? Midrizzaner and her pre-evolutions are fine =))) Don't Sphinxion have a mouth? Or is it hidden under it's big chin/nose? Liked the idea of it being a Ground-type. Just stay away from my Gyrados though >;D Now my favourite part - Socratowl Looks more femalish unlike its name though *whispers* Psst! I love it Now the unnamed Fakemon - it's looks kinda creepy, and yet wonderful Desert landscapes - I especially liked the deer/antelope one of all three. So cute! =3 For that English landscape, I'll say one thing: I want to enter that beautiful scenary ^__^ Both horse pictures look great Did you trace that mustang-in-the-sun from somewhere? Aww, you had clouds raining on your head? She looks so .... 'impressive' even when not feeling good ;D Maria's head looks a bit big to me =3 Otherwise nicely done! =DD That's it for now! Wonderful job overall Avatar | |

| Time for an update! It has been a year, after all I've spent a little of that time becoming familiar with a web-based art program, which I'll link here if you'd like to try it yourself - www.zefrank.com/scribbler/scribblertoo/ So starting with pokemon sketches: Here's a 3D structural drawing of a standard anime character: A random unconsidered fakemon. I guess it'd be normal-type... One of my favourites, a gothic outfit: Some other random fashion ideas - Horsey! Two geisha drawings: A half-angel half-demon: Another angel: An alien: A Cheshire cat: Cute little mouse: Self-sketch/portrait: Not from that program (back to MS paint) : A magic robot unicorn. It's a flash game if you've not encountered it before xD : That's all for now! ~Pirate | |
