Pokemon movie with giratina- a question about Shaymin

I have been trying for days to try and find out the answer to my Question, but no luck. So i thought id come here.
Why does Shaymin sound like a girl when in its origion form and a boy in its skye fourm?

My roommate and I thought the same thing and here's what we came up with. When Shaymin undergoes his/her change to Sky-Forme, he/she gets a lot braver, and his voice deepens to show it. Like when a human gets brave their voice is a bit more, demanding and deep, whereas if they are timid or just cute, their voice is a bit higher pitched.
