DYT we should build our own time machine?

Interesting question!

If you're talking about building a time machine that allows people to go back in time, then that seems risky. Yes, there's a chance that the past has been fabricated to allow for visits from the future, but what if it hasn't? Could disrupt everything, even our very existence =S

Should we build a machine that reverses time itself? Now that'd be very interesting, because it means that we could be trapped in a loop.
Let's say for the sake of argument that someone in the year 4000 AD builds a machine that reverses time and brings everything right back to the beginning. We live the same years over and over again, in a cyclical loop, because every time we make it to the year 4000, everything goes back to the beginning again. Which could already have happened. Which could make it possible that we're living our lives for the millionth time over already ^^;;

Annnnyway, best not to intervere with such things, in my opinion. I'd rather see things through to the very end...rather than getting caught in a time loop...besides, building any time machine would cost a heckuva lotta money xD


Do you think space travel is a worthwhile use of resources? (i.e. time and money)

If there are long-term adavntages (like finding natural resources on other planets etc., or even finding some way to inhabit other planets) then "Yes!". Space travel is worthwhile. Otherwise, doing it 'just for fun' (as NASA and others are planning to do in near future) is a waste of our valuable resources. What will you get if you visit Mars, 'cept for having something to brag about? ^^

Do you think humans in near future will be identified by Integrated chips in their skin, and that will eliminate the use of every kind of card (Identification, Credit, Social Security, Passport etc.)
