Intro: Wii Sports! The launch title that came bundled with the Wii is now one of the best games that ever came out for the Wii.Feeling in the mood to spar a match of boxing with your little brother,or how about a small tennis match against your friend to prove once and for all who's the real prince of tennis.Wii Sports comes with five sports simulations:boxing, tennis, baseball.golf, and bowling. You will never let go of this game.
Storyline: There is no real story line in this game.Just bring your friends over and challenge them to a sparring match.
Longevity: These sports are short simulations, but if playing with friends time will definetely fly. There is no real objective to this game, just have fun. This game is one of those games that you'll never put away if your playing with someone else.By yourself this game might get boring, but if you're with another person this game will never be put away for good.
Graphics: The graphics with this game are like most of the 3-D games that the Wii has come out with.Decent 3-D characters and arenas, but it doen't matter because the game just that fun.The graphics for this game are pretty standard edition for the Wii.The background graphics are simple, yet good also because of how they include audiences, lakes and more for some the simulations.Overall, nice standard graphics. Not yet at 360's level, but soon getting there.
Gameplay: As I said before there isn't a real mission to this game other than to just have fun with your friends. You control movement with the Wiimote, but if you want to box you may need to buy the nunchuck. If you have both, then go ahead and invite your friends or family members over and beat the heck out of them.
Sounds: Decent background music for this game, but I think they could have done better.I enjoyed listening to some of it,but then again it got annoying. The sounds that you make when your Mii makes movement is pretty simple, but still really nice.Overall, nice decent music for a sports game, but I wish we would be able to put in our own music instead of hearing the same background music again and again.
Overall: Wii Sports is a great game for parties, sleepovers,or just normal hangouts. It's great for anyone of any age.Maybe you can't box with your grandfather anymore because of his age,but at least with Wii Sports you can.I recommend this game to every one who has a Wii,but does not have this game. You will never let go of it.
