| Hmm, here's a thought. Maybe some friend or sibling borrowed/took your doll without you knowing, played around with it and accidentally damaged it or broke it. To avoid a confrontation they bought what they thought was practically the same product and put it back in your house/room in an attempt to replace it....

| okay the hair I understand, plush toys often "grow" hair when they are either overused or (for lack of a better word) abused. The heartbeat can also be explained, you believe you are feeling your Pikachu's heartbeat, when in reality you're feeling your own pulse, I know, it's happened to me before.
